Barlaston Downs Photowalk, Staffordshire

Distance: 2 miles which takes roughly an hour.

Cost: All free.

Parking: There's a free car park off Washdale Lane, ST15 8UU

Paths And Accessibility: We followed a small path next to the car park which lead us up a steep hill. The ground was mainly flattened mud and stones.

General Information: Lovely walk, not too strenuous. An amazing view at the top of the hill, you can see most of the Downs and beyond. Lots of beautiful flowers and insects to photograph so I'd recommend taking a macro lens.

Amenities: There are no toilets or refreshment venues on the Downs, but pubs and shops in nearby Oulton village or Stone.

Walked in July 2017 and submitted by Jenny and Caitlin.
