Distance: 3 miles
Cost: Free parking and all Closer to Home walks are free
Parking: At Joiner's Square Community Centre (when open), at Cornes Street, ST1 3JB
Paths and Accessibility: Fairly flat with some slight inclines/declines in places. Most paths are paved or along road pavements, but some areas muddy when we walked in January.
General Information: This walk was with the Closer to Home walk network (www.closertohomewalks.org.uk), encouraging regularly walking within Stoke-on-Trent with weekly, free walks with trained walk leaders. A great way to explore your local area without having to worry about planning a route, finding areas you may have never been before, with fellow walkers, who were all very welcoming to me joining them. The walk from Joiner's Square, Hanley takes place every Wednesday at 12:45pm
Amenities: Although it wasn't run on the day we walked, normally there are hot drink refreshments available at Joiner's Square Community Centre at the end of the walk. There are also toilets in the Community Centre.
