Lovell Quinta Arboretum Photowalk, Swettenham, Cheshire

Distance: less than a mile

Cost: Parking is free.  Entry is a requested donation of £2.50 with honesty box at the entrance.

Parking:  Large car park outside The Swettenham Arms (postcode CW12 2LF), which is also at the entrance to the arboretum.  If using a sat nav, the postcode can lead you the wrong way, so follow signs for Swettenham.

Route, Paths and Accessibility:  A very easy, flat route which is well signposted with colour-coded walk.  You can borrow laminated instructions at the entrance, which give a detailed description of the route and tree species along the way.  The longest (red) walk is still short and easy.

General Information:  The attraction of this location is the different tree species and plant life, tree-lined walkways and a small lake.  Lots of interesting photo opportunities and not much walking required.

Amenities:  The Swettenham Arms is next to the arboretum serving food and refreshments and with a lavender field at the back.  There's also picnic tables by the entrance if you've bought your own lunch.
