Distance: 3-4 miles
Cost: Entrance costs apply, adult £8.25, child £5.75, 2 adults and 2 children £26
Parking: Free car park within grounds
Route, Paths and Accessibility: There are steps and steep inclines and declines in places and it was also quite muddy
General Information: There was so much to do and it was excellent value for money. Check out the photographs for the attractions, but you will find towers, den building, tunnels, underground caves, bridges, clefts to name a few. There are plenty of picnic benches located all throughout the park so take a packed lunch. There was a cafe at the start but nothing else on route when I went so take refreshments with you. There are lots of different trails, paths, drives, steps and wearing supportive footwear is definitely advised. I didn't see any different access for anyone who may find the paths more difficult so I would ring in advance to check alternative access if you require it. Torches are also a must as there are a number of tunnels you can pass through, some are quite long so you'll definitely need to be able to light your way as you go.
Amenities: On site cafe and toilets.
